Easter

My next door neighbour's neices came down for Easter last weekend. I'd never met them, but I had heard so much about them. They used to know the old man that used to live here before we moved in, and they all used to come and see him when they were down.
When they came down, they were amazed at how different it looked; living here everyday we don't really see an improvement, but from the green walls in the hallway, the wallpaper, the green sofa, the yellow kitchen, the red dining room and the green carpets throughout - to the cream hallway, the magnolia dining room, the white kitchen, the lilac lounge and the grey carpets throughout we forget how much we did in the short 4 months we lived here before lil man joined us.
It was lovely to see their faces when they met chub chub and it was so lovely to meet them finally.
Jasmine is 4 and Emily is 7, they were such lovely little girls and Harry adored them. Whenever we had a spare 5 minutes we popped over next door to see them or we got them over here. It was so lovely and it was surprising how quick 3 days went of seeing them. It'll be lovely in the summer when they come down for a whole week to be able to do bits with them.

As they are the eldest children I have been around, (I'm the youngest of my family & the eldest of my in laws is 3), I thought I'd try and make something special for them.
On Easter Sunday, while the hubby was at work & chub chub was still asleep, I set up a small easter hunt for the girls. I had little bags, easter eggs, masks, and little prizes. When they came round; they were so surprised and even included Harry in it (once he was awake).

I was so happy I put smiles on their faces before they had a long journey home.
It was such a beautiful Easter, and I can't wait to update you all on what we get up to in the summer :).
