The question:
Chub Chub is only 5 + 1/2 months old..it is going very quickly; but he's only just starting not to be 'boring'. He doesn't just lay on his back and look lost anymore, he rolls both ways and away from anything. He chases the animals, he shrieks in delight when he see's me or the man walk in, and he is such a happy baby...
He has also now kidnapped the walker...most people believe he is too young and his legs will bow, but for half an hour a day; he loves it. We can put him in it, make some dinner; turn around & he's by your feet. It's as if he charges at you.
He is so happy, whatever he does doesn't seem to bother him and he adapts to it majorly..unless he's hungry, and then everybody know's about it!.
Is it just me, or does everybody ask that dreaded question.....
You meet them, you have a coffee some cake, a lovely catch up, a lovely natter... then the question comes:
"When's the next one?"
I am happy enjoying this little delight for now :).
We keep saying in about 4 years; however I have a feeling it might be in a couple..as I am already trying to find a gorgeous double pram...
I am so excited for Harry's first year; and then I'm hoping we get him to ourselves when he starts walking and exploring everything. I know they're all full on, and I know their always going to be hard work...but when Harry is more reliant on his own and does things for himself, then we may think about another one..
for the time being, we'll enjoy the beautiful one we have:)

Flash Back Friday
Today I've been thinking about the day he proposed....
It was such a lovely day, we were staying at my mums for the week as we were looking after her place while she jetted off on a cruise;
He set off to work in the morning; while I got ready and went to work too.
It felt all so new back then, we'd text as much as we could, whenever we could. He was building back then, so I often got the phone call when they were on their breaks (which is quite common if you know builders).
We'd spoke about getting married, and we were so excited about all of our future..but nothing was major, it was just "what if's!".
One of his phone calls was him asking if we wanted to go out for dinner that evening, which was so lovely; I agreed. I got home, and got ready, dulled up after having a lovely day at work & waited for him to come back from work himself.
He walked through the door, and I don't know why but I was so tense; he sat down and then said "I thought we could have a drink and then go shopping and have dinner here tonight". So I was a bit disappointed but being there waiting for him to get in from work was an experience I'd never felt before so I was still really happy.
He went to get the drinks for us, and came back with a Vodka & Lemonade for me, and a Beer for him. I never really drink so I was a bit shocked with what he had chosen for me .. he passed me my drink and then got on one knee, the question came;
"Will you marry me?"
To which I happily answered with a "Yes!" and I got told to look into the glass; where my gorgeous ring was bubbling at the bottom. It was the best moment of my life, ever.

Bath Time-We've Cracked It!
Every single bath time we've had, Chub Chub has screamed.
It started off with the bottom lip quivering; and singing a song calms down.
When he was in the bath with his daddy, all he did was sob;
Then he started screaming the rooftop off of the house...
When he was baby, we used to put off bathing until we absolutely needed to as we knew he didn't like them.
We then learnt that he wouldn't get used to it, if he didn't have them as part of a bedtime routine..
So now; we have a bath every night;
He rolls round in it, if he goes underwater he looks at you and then giggles, he plays with his rattles, he splashes about and you would not believe it is the same baby!.
We put him in the same bath as his two cousins tonight; and they all seemed to like splashing each other.

I want to try next an idea that I have read about, when you put glo sticks in the bath; when he gets a bit older and bigger, this is another reason to enjoy the fun in washing.
We are going to attempt to take him swimming at the weekend; did anybody have any trouble with their baby swimming? As in too cold? Not enjoying it?
Thank you for following x x

Washing Day
Parenthood is always challenging; sometimes you have good days, sometimes you have the best days, sometimes you can have bad days and then you can also have the worst days.
Today was a bit mixed of them all;
We had our close family friend's funeral yesterday, so today was a bit emotional thinking about it all.
Also we went to see my grandparents with Harry. They absolutely adore him, and seeing them be great grandparents is so lovely to see, to show them all the new tricks he does is so lovely to see the expressions on their faces when he gives them a giggle, when he rolls over and looks at them.
I was also a boring mum today too...When I was pregnant, nobody warned me how much washing you would end up having to do. I know I don't make it easy by leaving it as long as I have to do all of the washing, but it's probably the only thing I absolute hate doing...the washing.
When we lived in our flat, it was just me and the hubby; it was okay, as he also worked a clean job then; he now tugs around keggs of beer, clears out dirty cellars, paints everything and battles with rubbish everyday, so it's not even smelly clothes we have to wash, it's dirty that have stains on too which makes the washing even more challenging. And then we have Harry's, and because he is a sicky baby, every outfit needs washing every day, if he hasn't had two outfits a day.
The 10 minutes when everything is washed and dried is pure joy, and you look around the house, and you spot another load in the corner....never ever ending!!
But being a mummy, you still need to have fun with lilun; so we had a game with him in the washing basket today, and he absolutely loved watching the washing go around in the machine; apparently I did this when I was younger too...

New Beginnings.
Sorry about the delay of this next post, we have both been up to so much recently.
It's lovely now ChubChub is beginning to do things now; he rolls over, which is so cute to see, and he is trying his hardest to start to crawl. He pushes his feet underneath his chest and then kicks and he somehow moves forward; but we will get there;

I had my first Mummy's Day yesterday too, which was lovely and I got very spoilt by my boy, and my beautiful better half took my to breakfast at the hotel we got married, nearly 3 months ago; which made our day perfect.
He has started liking his new sippy cup too; this Tommee Tippee non spill cup is so good for the first sips. It's not too hard to get out, and he is also able to bite onto the teat bit without ruining it or just sucking air (which he does with his bottles.)
It is really good for in between bottles when he has food and he needs something to wash it down with.

We managed to dig this backpack out of my mother in laws cupboard as well. You can put the baby in it, strap him in with a 5 point harness, and he sits there with the legs out at the bottom. It is a very sturdy thing for when he is just sitting there; and then you pop it on your back like a back pack, there is an option for clips over the boobs and round the waist to help support so it's not just weight on your back. It is so nice, and it doesnt feel your carrying a 17lb baby on your back!.
I'm not too sure if I'd be brave enough to wear it out to the shops instead of push his pushchair. It's also good for if we went somewhere like a castle which you can't always push a pushchair around.
What do all my followers think of this?, Yay, or Nay?
Thankyou so much for following :) x x x

He had his first rusk too, it seemed to vanish before my eyes;,the first one got dropped and the dog ate it, so it literally did vanish; but the second he kept hold of it and he sucked it to the very last crumb.

February 28th 2013
This is the last day of February, for doing the last post of the month, trying to keep up to date by doing one a day and running out of things to do...I'm sure I will probably do the same when he is older and I can do more stuff with him; and then the blog will be even more interesting! :).
After moving the house around yesterday for the in laws, we decided to do the same to ours today; we sorted out all of the rubbish we didn't want in the spare room,we got rid of the double wardrobe and we also got rid of the double bed we had. We put in a chest of drawers and a single bed, also putting a couple of Harry's toys in there.
We sorted out the dining room, putting the table in the window; and moving the cat to the other side of the room, making it an actual room with space rather than trying to squeeze in to do things.
We also moved Harry's room around, changed all of his clothes out of his drawers and replaced them with 6-9 month clothes and 9-12 month clothes ready for the summer. It is scary to think that he is completely out of 3-6 month clothes being 4 months old.
Harry has started rolling over now...it's soo cute to see him growing up. Whenever he is put on the floor, he is on his tummy as soon as he can, trying to pull himself forward. He has also learnt to roll back, so he goes to and fro, and he seems to find it very funny, until he cant move forward yet and then gets fustrated with himself..
I will keep you updated with goings on; however I can do all the important bits with him growing up and enjoying him more.
Keep reading please, hope your enjoying getting to know us.

Having Mitch off for the week is really lovely, but it's not normal. It's weird to try and find things to do with the family and things to do together. It'll be nice for him to go back to work so normality happens again, but I'm still enjoying it until he has to go back.
Today we went to the in laws to help move their house around;
they both slept in their bedroom which was downstairs, however since we moved out of their house, a year ago in march; it has been an empty room, which is also the biggest room in the house.
So we moved their bedroom upstairs, and the downstairs room ended up being a play room for their 3 grandchildren, which all the boys absolutely love playing in now.
It looks so much better, and it's so nice for all of the rooms to be made into each room being used, and we also can let dad watch tele when the boys come over, so we can let the boys run riot together playing the loudest toys possible on their own.
Also tonight, we had our first photo shoot today. We went to Mario's in Margate; and had such a lovely time. It was just us 3, and we had shots with all three of us, shots with me and harry, shots of harry and daddy, shots of just harry and shots of just us two. It was so lovely there, they made us feel so relaxed and made the pictures look so natural. They told us what poses to do, and also how to tilt our heads and when to smile and the photographer was also so good with trying to make Harry smile, even though he smiles on anything that makes a noise atm.
We have to go back next week to view the photo's, and we are so excited to get a few of what we have had done, and see what a good job it was.

The hubby has a week off of work this week, and unlike every other week holiday; he usually gets a phone call from the boss to do one thing or other during the holiday, but so far he hasnt had one phone call, and it's looking good for no phone call today either.
We had a lovely morning including a lay in, and having snuggles in bed with little mr man as well. We went for a walk down the park with the dog too which was lovely to spend time as our family of 3.
In the evening he eventually got a phone call from the boss to go into work for the evening, and so I went with him; and the best next door neighbour had harry for us.
It was so lovely of her, and I don't think I've ever seen a grown up be so excited as much as she was.
It was lovely getting hourly texts from her, telling me what he's getting up to, and what he's doing.
He slept nearly all afternoon, so we were wondering what he would be like for the night, as he didn't sleep well at all when we were away...
He fell asleep on the floor randomly, as he never does this, as I doubt he'd be brave enough too with the dog and cat running around all the time, receiving this picture was so nice to see.
