We had another smooth 4 hour jouney home, and Harry slept all the way home again. On the M1 we had half an hour wait, as we came across the police blocking the road, because there were animals on the road; which was very unreal, and then we had a really good stretch all the way home.

February 25th 2013
We went home today, but before we left, we met the mumma in laws brother and his partner, and they took a few pictures of Harry which was lovely.
February 24th 2013
Harry slept an hour more today, but still woke up at 6am. Which is still 3 hours earlier than normal. Not enjoying this, and when we are up late at night, he seems to want to be as well; but I guess it is because he doesnt know where he is, and its a different bed and a different surroundings.
We went to see our cousin today, and to see her daughter today as she turned 1 on wednesday;
last time we met her, she was 3 months old, and I was 5 months pregnant. It was so lovely to see her so big, and walking and playing with her toys. They both loves playing together, even though it was for only one day.

We woke up today, in a different bed, with a tele in our room, and our baby next to us in a travel cot..it was a bit different in a way, Harry decided he only wanted to sleep 11pm-5am, which is unusual to what we are used to!
We went shopping today, we went to Nottingham city centre, which was basically like westwood cross and lakeside in one. It was so lovely there, and I wish I could move up there, just for a centre like that. It had all bargain shops to start with after walking through the car park, where the mumma in law bought a beautiful rug, and I got some lovely boots.

We then went to the pub, which was the other side of the centre, so we had to go through the whole of the inside; and we managed to pass a riot, outside a BHS store where the police were blocking them all getting in the shop. They were all in masks, and it was our first riot that we'd ever seen.

| The ones in the masks, holding a board, saying "we know the law". |
We carried on walking and then we passed some tram lines, which I'd only ever seen in DisneyLand, when I was young. So we quickly ran across the road to the pub for some lovely lunch, and then we thought we'd pop into primark (you can't not really, can you).
We still had two days left, enjoying our holiday so far.
February 22nd 2013
Today we set off to Nottingham, we packed what we thought was lightly, with 4 bags, ready for 4 days away with the 3 of us, and the mummy in law.
It took us 4 hours to get up there, and it was a very relaxed journey, as chubchub slept all the way, woke up 20 minutes before we got there for his bottle and then fell asleep straight away.
When we got up there, it was so lovely to see the country side too.
We had a beautiful time up there for our first little get away holiday, more to follow for what we got up to while we went away, x x

February 21st 2013
It was another boring spring clean day today, as I want the house looking nice for when we come back, I have been trying my hardest for it to look lovely for when we go, as much as I hope and dream, I know the cleaning fairies wont help me out when we're gone.
We are leaving the neighbours and sister-in-law in charge of the fish, dog and cat, with feeding them and taking dog for walks and letting the cat out her cage, so also it'll be nice for the house to look tidy too.
Tonight my best friend coloured my hair again, as it's been a good 4 weeks since I decided I wanted to go blonde from being a very dark brown...and my roots had started to come through, so she brightened me up a bit by bleaching my roots, ready for our trip up north..jpg)

Before with dark hair, After with blonde hair, .jpg)

Having my roots done.
Keep reading to find out how our holiday goes :) <3

Today Harry met my very good friend. We hadnt seen her for ages, probably since summer, as she went back up to uni, and when she was last down we got married and we couldnt catch up, however Harry had endless cuddles and smiles today, and he also learnt to giggle too!!
It's such a beautiful sound, and it sounds like he is half crying, half laughing and half choking, but being a mum, I know it's his giggle as we have never heard it before and it only happens when he has his gorgeous beaming smile.
We went shopping to get some neccesities for going away and we also managed to pack. Which I was very impressed all fitting in 4 bags for Hubby, Harry & Me. As Harry is a sicky baby, we had no idea what to pack, as you never know what he will do...so we have about 10 outfits ( day & night ) and 2 coats, ( apparently we're expecting snow up North ) a couple of pairs of shoes ( a must have ), a few blankets, and lots and lots of bibs, ready for the food and the milky times.
I am so excited to take him away for the first time. It's nowhere amazing, and he probably wont know any different, and he will most likely sleep majority of it, but it's a nice break for us all just to get away from here, and just be happy as a family and have new scenery too.

Today Harry saw his Nanny. We went to her shop, as she owns a beautiful craft shop in Herne Bay, so we sometimes go over and see what she is doing and also have a few crafty moments with the little man...which usually ends up being on the laptop with him clicking away at the buttons.
This afternoon we decided we were going to have a chill out session, and I sat down and made lots of lists for what we need to pack to go away. Chubchub was put in his swing so he could settle down but then also fall asleep if he wanted to;

He has also started grabbing things, and cooing at everything and everyone, especially when they want to talk to me. He is growing into himself so much these days...x

February 18th 2013
I've been a typical mum today, I have done about 8 washes, and tumble dries, I have been trying to battle a pile of ironing all day. I am now up to date with the washing it is just the ironing to do. I've been playing with Toffee, & also our dog Missy. While Harry has seemed to just want to sleep all day which is quite helpful.
After suggesting about going up north for a few days, the first thing I thought was, oh I have so much to pack for Harry....and now, the list is getting so much bigger.

Not packing one thing, but just adding to the list of what I need to take.
I went out to the shops to get a few neccesities, that are in the wash ready to come out and have an iron.
Any ideas of what I need to take away with us, that most people would forget ? any comments would be lovely!!
Not much happened today that was worth taking a picture of,....not looking good for this picture a day blog!
Thank you so much for reading this far x x x

I'm 20!
Today is my birthday, and it was a very lovely entry into my birthday.
I got very very spoilt.
The hubby, parents, inlaws and friends all spoilt me so much, and I can't believe how much I got!
Harry got me a pair of slippers, and a gorgeous t-shirt.
I finally went to bed at 6.30am this morning(from the night before) and I woke up to tend to Harry at 9.30am, surprisingly not being tired though.
I went to visit the grandparents, and then dad came over, and then we went bowling this evening, with the hubby, and in-laws.
Also today, we had a friend give birth today, and also a good friend to say good bye today.
It was such a lovely day, but it was so amazing to have a picture of a gorgeous little perfect boy, in which I need to meet and also meet his gorgeous big brother. However, it was hard to find out the news tonight of a loved one passing on.
So to try and take our mind off of things, we have decided to take a trip Friday - whenever, up north. To have some time away, to think about, to forget the world, to live just us, and be thankful for the life we have, because you never know how long you got left in life.
I had such a beautiful day, ... out of the teens, and no more a teenage mummy .

I had a lovely relaxing day today, we went to work in the hubby's van again today as a family. We had to have a MOT on the van, and also ferry about some keggs of beer, to a few of the pubs.
As it is my birthday tomorrow; we had a very good party, to see my 20th in.
It was one of the first party's we've had, after living here for 8 months. It was so lovely to have friends over, have a drink, have a laugh and just enjoy being a teenager for one last day.
My sister-in-law came over with her boyfriend with a few more friends, who was there for Harry if he did wake up, but as we have such a good baby, we didn't hear a peep out of him after putting him to bed at 7pm and he woke up at 9.30am.
We all got hungry , so we decided to order an 18" pizza; as you do..and at midnight, everybody started singing Happy Birthday to me, with a slice of pizza, and a candle on top.
I had so many pictures of this evening, but I also wasn't very sober, and they're rather embarrasing, so we will make it just an update today, rather than a picture.
I'm having so much fun writing this blog, as it feels like I can just write anything, and it feels like it's out of my system.
I'm not very good, but practice makes perfect :) x x x

This evening we went out for a beautiful meal at Chiquito's at Westwood Cross.
I had read a review about their gorgeous new menu over at
www.themummyadventure.com/2013/02/our-last-date-night-chiquitos.html
on my friends blog, & my dad wanted to take us all out for a meal for my birthday. So I suggested here, and it went down with a treat.
With free popcorn while your choosing what you fancied to eat; I knew it was going to be gorgeous.

The hubby and I both went for a gorgeous chicken wrap with salad and chips on the side, after the biggest starter there, to share.
I would definitely recommend going there if you want a lovely meal out!.

Valentines day...
I was a very spoilt wife today; we forgot about being a mummy for the day, and had such a lovely day.
The hubby cooked me a beautiful steak, (best dinner ever!), with the table covered in heart confetti, heart crackers with hearts in them, heart serviettes, heart candles and a game of electronic scrabble; our meal was planned just right for us.
We got our first cards to husband and wife on valentines day :).
When we went up to bed, there was also a little thing for me on the covers...& pillows....
It was such a perfect first valentines as a couple, and cannot wait until next year.
Hope your enjoying the blog, x

Today we had a day of baby, mummy, dog and kitten...we went for a walk round the park, while lilun tried to fall asleep but wasn't having any of it after watching the dog.
We then watched some tele, watched mummy do some cleaning, and refused to sleep until 2pm, after the health-visitor came over, and after his uncle came for cuddles.
He woke up then at 6.30pm for a bottle and a cuddle with daddy.
Tonight was his first night in his big boy cot with a proper duvet, he has been in his cot since new years day night at 10 weeks old; but we changed all his bumper set around and put a big boy duvet in it, hoping he would be tucked in better and not kick the sheets off as much as he kicks his blankets away to stop him being cold.

It is Shrove Tuesday today; I never have enjoyed pancakes, at all..as this year I have said to myself I am going to try and try everything at least once, we thought we'd make some...we bought a Peppa Pig chocolate mix up, which all you do is add milk...
I can safely say, I won't be having any pancakes soon...they weren't very nice :D
Does anybody follow lent? What are you giving up? I can't decide! <3

It snowed last night; a lot!
We weren't expecting it either, so when we woke up this morning and it was very thick, we decided we were going to have a lazy day and stay in for the day.
It didn't quite work out like that though, as I decided once it had stopped snowing we wanted some shopping, so we trecked it out to the shops, only to find out that where we live was the worst covered village in Thanet!.
We never get anything the same as the rest of thanet, I was so shocked when I was driving around and it didn't even look like it had snowed anywhere.

February 10th 2013
Today we had a lovely lazy sunday. We spent it being together as a family, just us 3. It was so gorgeous and so perfect, we live for days like that, when nobody gets in the way, and nobody tells us what to do and when to do it!.
We watched Harry reach out and grab all of his toys for the first time properly today, he managed to hit himself in the face as well, which he soon learnt wasn't a good idea; however, still carried on doing it.

We had a lovely cheeky take away tonight as well, which was very naughty of us; but it was too good not to eat, and we couldn't be bothered to cook...we're allowed a treat now and then :)x
February 9th 2013
My sister came home this weekend, so today's plans were to go and see her. Me, being a hairdresser also coloured and cut her hair so she was ready to go out partying in the evening. It was lovely to see her, as she lives in London, we don't see her very often, and Harry loves his gorgeous Auntie:).
He always has unconditional smiles for her, and can make anybody sad have a huge beaming smile with all the noises he does now.
This is half way through her hair being done; while we were waiting for her hair to develop.
It was lovely to see her, and it'll be nice to see her when she is back down :).

Today Harry had a morning with his Nan-Nan & Auntie along with his 3 year old cousin, and 1 year old cousin. It was very strange getting him ready to then go out, without me.
I had a very lovely relaxing shower, rather than a normal rushed 10 second one, I did all the housework and also layed on the floor playing with our new delightful kitten. I went shopping, and got lots of little bits, for Toffee, Harry and Missy, was unreal going without a pushchair or trolley with Harry in.
This evening we had a visitor from one of ChubChub's god mothers...She is literally been my strong angel recently. When people say that through the hard times, you know who your true friends are...I've found out this special girl is my one:D.
Also tonight, we had snuggles with just our little family, making everything else in the world disapear, away from all the arguments, away from all the moaning people, away from everybody else, it was just us 5 , all snuggled in our lounge enjoying a lovely (naughty) take away, enjoy each other's company..such a lovely relaxing day.

Today was an extraordinary day; I went to my mums shop to see her with Harry, & the Hubby text me saying he will pick me up, and we're going out...this never happens...so I was very surprised.
When he picked me up, we went to Tesco shopping, which I thought; oh right, not much of a outing but hey ho...
An hour later, we were on our way to Ashford....
We brought back this little delight. Toffee. Our new addition to our family, we now have, Me, Hubby, Harry, Missy & now Toffee. :).
This was a very lovely birthday surprise.

February 6th 2013
Today our little man had an "off" day. He woke up with his usual morning smiles, and that was it for the day, he seemed to be moany and crying all the rest of the day if he wasn't sleeping, which I can only say it's the milk...as he has only had 2 of these days in the 16 weeks of his life!. However, when the lovliest next door neighbour came round, he has endless smiles for her, and a little play time. If you ever need a good neighbour you can always count on Lee. In the 8 months we have lived here, she has helped us with everything, been there when I was down and been there for laughs...we still yet to have a great day out together, it will happen...but she is the one that I can spend time with in the day while the man is at work.
Instead of a lovely walk to the beach today, after the man went to work, he returned with a tin of paint randomly. When we moved we said we would get the house finished before ChubChub arrived, I thought this had happened, as best as we wanted it anyway...Apparently not, our goal for the evening was to paint the kitchen!.
I was expecting a lovely evening in, have cuddles with ChubChub, watching the soaps, bathing him, having a nice family evening....I soon found out the soaps weren't on because of England vs Brazil football, the baby decided to be asleep from 4.20pm for the night, so that was my evening cancelled. I was rather grateful that he came home wanting to paint.

Who ever said Parenthood was easy...they must have been joking. Parenthood is the most challenging thing I have ever come across, however, it's the most rewarding thing I have been through!. There can be brilliant days, hard days, days you want to show your life out to everybody and days you just want to curl up in bed all day.
Today, we found out Harry has a high risk of being Dairy Intolerant, as his father is...Harry has always been a sicky baby, I've always just dealt with it, and carried on wiping the sick away. In the past fortnight when he had his first cold, he has definately got worse, throwing up all day, from 10 minutes after a bottle until 10 minutes before the next one, 4 hours later...we thought it was time to take him to the doctors...as we found out, yes, he is dairy intolerant..and we have now changed his milk. It's now the case of trying to wean him off of porridge, rusks, baby brekkie; and now onto soya baby milk, and ella's kitchen baby food.

It was such a lovely day today, so we all went down the beach this evening too...the last time the man and I went down our local beach was 3 years ago, when it was us and our friends, tonight we went down with our dog and our son..it was very strange feeling. We went for an hour walk down the promenade and on the beach,...it really made it feel like everybody had disappeared out of our lives and there was no problems anymore. It was so beautiful, we planned to have the same the next day, and then it started becoming bitter & raining so we left it for a once in a month thing :). It wont be long until Harry can join in with his daddy x

As this February is going on, we're running out of new things to do...I'd love to introduce new crafts and playing with him, but as we did footprints and tried to do hand prints for Christmas presents, everything seemed to go into the mouth rather than on the canvas, so I might leave it until he is sitting up and more aware of what he is doing.
We had a lovely relaxed day yesterday, we stayed at home, tidied, cleaned, we also read our first story together and Harry was looking at me trying to giggle all the way through...We are trying to get him to giggle, as he has only done it twice so far :). We had mummy and baby day today, which was lovely.
In the evening, we also gave him a bath, the first time he hasn't moaned from when he goes in, till when he comes out. We played, and we splashed, and we had fun with our ducks and our rattles. I don't actually know what we did differently, but he loved it! & went to bed straight after at 7pm, earliest ever bed time that he has slept with until 9.15am, without waking up!!.
February 3rd 2013
Last night, was the first night of our ChubChub to be in pajamas and not baby grows.
When I was pregnant I refused to buy any pajamas, as I knew I didn't like them, I didn't want him to wear them, and I thought he'd be too cold in them....I lasted longer than I thought I would...I presumed I'd break that thought and have him in them at 8 weeks old...15 weeks old, we put him in size 6-12 month ones, fitting him perfectly....this is him playing with his dad, when we had our Sunday cuddles once he woke up this morning.
One of the best things about being a mum is definitely having those morning smiles, when you go into his bedroom, look down into his cot, and he gives you back the beaming smile...that's the moments I live for. Every time he does the gorgeous smiles or the open mouth smiles....not quite a giggle...it melts my heart, and we have cuddles!!

The second day of Febraury, we broke down in the car with ChubChub, Grandy and I. We were going to Canterbury & I ignored the petrol light, and foolishly went the back road too...The hubby had to come and get us, 45 minutes later we were rescued with the petrol can and we carried on our journey to Canterbury.
Also the Christening invites arrived today, which I'm so excited about. I loved making them online and they look even better now they are here, so I have them to write names on, and to send them to all the family. We've chosen the god parents, which was a lot of heartache and arguments, but we've chosen two men and two women for the best roles and they're the best for ChubChub to grow up with.
It was hard to chose them, but they have been the only ones that have been there through the pregnancy as well as been there as soon as he was born and til now too...They know how to cope with him when he screams and when he also has a dirty nappy!

Also the Christening invites arrived today, which I'm so excited about. February 1st 2013
The first day of a photo a day, and to try and do something different each day with my lil chubchub.
Today we had a very fun day;
Firstly, we went to work in Daddy's big white van. We did all the deliveries together, we got caught in the rain & also got a cuddle off of the main Thorley Taverns Boss!!
We had a very lovely day, even though he slept through the most of it!!
Also, another thing that happened was that Harry rolled over the first time today. It probably wasn't on purpose, but he went from his front to his back, and then about half hour later he did his back to his front. Although this was probably not intentional and he didn't seem to like looking at the carpet from just moving a little, he seemed to find it funny (everything deserves a smile these days.)
