New Beginnings.

Sorry about the delay of this next post, we have both been up to so much recently.
It's lovely now ChubChub is beginning to do things now; he rolls over, which is so cute to see, and he is trying his hardest to start to crawl. He pushes his feet underneath his chest and then kicks and he somehow moves forward; but we will get there;
He had his first rusk too, it seemed to vanish before my eyes;,the first one got dropped and the dog ate it, so it literally did vanish; but the second he kept hold of it and he sucked it to the very last crumb.

I had my first Mummy's Day yesterday too, which was lovely and I got very spoilt by my boy, and my beautiful better half took my to breakfast at the hotel we got married, nearly 3 months ago; which made our day perfect.

 He has started liking his new sippy cup too; this Tommee Tippee non spill cup is so good for the first sips. It's not too hard to get out, and he is also able to bite onto the teat bit without ruining it or just sucking air (which he does with his bottles.)
It is really good for in between bottles when he has food and he needs something to wash it down with.

We managed to dig this backpack out of my mother in laws cupboard as well. You can put the baby in it, strap him in with a 5 point harness, and he sits there with the legs out at the bottom. It is a very sturdy thing for when he is just sitting there; and then you pop it on your back like a back pack, there is an option for clips over the boobs and round the waist to help support so it's not just weight on your back. It is so nice, and it doesnt feel your carrying a 17lb baby on your back!.
I'm not too sure if I'd be brave enough to wear it out to the shops instead of push his pushchair. It's also good for if we went somewhere like a castle which you can't always push a pushchair around.
What do all my followers think of this?, Yay, or Nay?
Thankyou so much for following :) x x x

  1. I love carrying the boys in a sling or on my back but haven't used one like that yet - I think they can be great especially at the zoo as it means they are at a better height to see things.

    Your mother's day sounds lovely and very thoughtful x x

    1. Oh really; I've seen the fabric ones, but he doesn't get on with cuddles very well and very figety; but he loved this as he has his own space as well. I suppose that'd be great for him then, to go to the zoo. We are also trying to stop him pulling my hair, so daddy can carry him more :).
      Aww thank you, it was lovely to go back, it wasn't as nice weather as our wedding day though.:).

  3. just found your blog through britmums-so glad I found it! Your little man is so gorgeous-I have a little Harry too. I never thought I'd use slings once they reached a certain age but I recently took my two babies on a flight by myself and being able to put harry in the sling made it so much easier! I wouldn't advise it for a long trips but just for toursty things (as you mention) it was great. We went for a soft Moby wrap but I think those carriers look great.
