It started off with the bottom lip quivering; and singing a song calms down.
When he was in the bath with his daddy, all he did was sob;
Then he started screaming the rooftop off of the house...
We then learnt that he wouldn't get used to it, if he didn't have them as part of a bedtime routine..
So now; we have a bath every night;
He rolls round in it, if he goes underwater he looks at you and then giggles, he plays with his rattles, he splashes about and you would not believe it is the same baby!.
We put him in the same bath as his two cousins tonight; and they all seemed to like splashing each other.
I want to try next an idea that I have read about, when you put glo sticks in the bath; when he gets a bit older and bigger, this is another reason to enjoy the fun in washing.
We are going to attempt to take him swimming at the weekend; did anybody have any trouble with their baby swimming? As in too cold? Not enjoying it?

Ted loves bath time but screams when he gets out! Hes just turned 3months and we havent taken him swimming yet but deffo want to! Let us know how you get on! :D
ReplyDeleteDylan hated bath time for ages but Archie is at his calmest when in the bath. He has only been in the bath with me so far though so I think maybe he likes the skin to skin contact. I am glad he is enjoying them more now though and good luck with the glow stick bath, they are fab! x
